In Canada, once you are the situation the age is nineteen, then it is technically 19, whether the airlines are loose to make thier very own rules. they're going to in many circumstances stay at 21 if the yank flight originated in u.s., whether you're flying to Europe and getting off.

That's a good question. You are not subject to British law as you are not in the UK. The fact that you are British on a British airline is irrelevant. However, the fact that you have not yet passed US immigration, I am not sure what US laws you are subject to.

Hmm.. very interesting. I would have thought that it has to follow the rule of the country in which you land once you actually landed no matter what form of transportation that may be. But then again I'm not sure, so next time please do ask the customs when you pass through them and let us know ^_-

Alcohol and planes should not mix.


You get far drunker, can't dance and tend to do stupid things like try and open the doors at 30,000 feet

No I really don't think so. They would not serve any alcohol once the plane landed anyways.

planes don't serve alcohol until you are up in the air!!

However if you are American and on BA - can you drink at 18???
