not much math skills, but every where you go what and whatever major you have you will need a minimal amount of knowledge when it comes to math. you don't have much to worry about. except, when you have your own vet place, you will be owning a business and that will require some basic math skills.

math is everywhere. don't set yourself up for failure by being negative. instead, when you have to take a math class, try your best and start out positive, by saying something like, I'm going to work really hard to get a good grade and make the most out of it. well, I hope you fulfill your dreams and not just doing things because it's "easy" but because you love it. good luck!

Yes it does. Unfortunately, anything in the science field requires math. And it doesn't get any better in the clerical field. You don't need to be strong in math, but you do need to be able to understand how to work with equations and why a certain equation will not work in a given situation. If you want to be a Vet then ask your math teacher for some extra help. S/he may be able to set you up with a peer tutor.

You will need at least one year of College Level Math. This is your preparation for calculus-based physics. Several schools require one year of college level math. For other schools, this requirement is strongly recommended, especially as preparation for physics. Most statistics and computer programming classes are also recommended. These courses will prepare you for the Quantitative Ability section of the VCAT. Or Veterinary College Admission Test.
So yes..You will need to understand equations and ratios. So that you can understand fluid levels particularly when you are administering medications.

Yes! You will need to take lots of math, chemistry, and physics on the advanced level, not to mention knowing pharmacology for animals.
