i went to another machine to check my balance it showed that the money had been taken out i returned home called the bank to report this
they said some one with call me friday will they put trhe money back into my account that i never withdrew ?

I work at a bank, but this is just a guess. They will probably have someone look at the machine. If they find a problem with the machine that would have prevented you form getting cash, they will probably credit your account. If the machine is working properly, you may be out of luck. Someone is likely to examine the recording from the ATM's camera to see if the machine actually dispensed cash.

If it was me I would have GONE to the bank immediately after it happened. Not waited, gone to another machine and then went home and then called. You might have a hard time getting the money back cause they might think you are lying about not getting the money in the first place. But good luck.

I guess you should wait until Friday and see if they call. If they don't, then call them again or go to the branch and speak with a manager.
