my ex gf and i split up last october and we still have feelings for each other. my family is giving us problems cuz they don't like her bcuz of her race. so that's stopping her from getting back with me. she wants to go into the military and i don't want her too. i don't want that kind of relationship for me and especially for her. i don't want her to be hurting and longing for me like that. and the distance is both stopping us from gettin back 2gether? what should we do? stay broken up or get back together? thank you.

upto you... since your family is the problem, you have a choice.
Move to be with her and take the risk.
Don't move, hang out with your family, and move on to someone that your family approves of if thats the kind of person u are.

Whoever said that long distance relationships dont work...
Are full of it...
I am walking proof that it does..
My friend/ex/almost bf again, we started dating at 14 then I broke it off even though we were in love, to see what else was out there.
I didn't think it was fair to both of us...
SO we became best friends after he got over being upset with me!
Then after almost a yr. we decieded we still love each other so much and there isn't anyone that we care about as much as each other!
So we got back together. I split with him after 10mo. (personal reasons)
After a year we are still so in love, that we know we just cant live without each other.....
So the long distance thing wont be a problem IF you to love each other....
Trust me I have been through your part of your situation before!
If you love her stay with her and dont let her go. No matter how far.

omg my problem and urz iz da same one cuz me an my ex broke up cuz hiz family dont like me cuz of my race cuz im hispanic and he iz mixed well at least hes mom dont like me well i think ya should get together cuz distance cannot change love towards her or u
