A saturn car dealership says $455 base pay/ plus commision, benefits. Does that mean if its get slow and make no sales do i still make 455 a week?

Don't even consider that line of work unless you have no conscience and are a total sleaze ball low life lying, cheating, unable to find ANY other job SOB.

Yes, that is precisely what that means.
Be aware, though... that most sales jobs -- ESPECIALLY car sales depend on a quota of sales and they expect you to meet it. If you don't, it wouldn't reflect very good on you and eventually you'd be in the job market again. That's why I hate sales.
