just trying to prove a point here!! i had a cough and i saw my friend on tuesday, and she used my asthma pump, and then on wednesday she was ill and said it was my fault.. lol but as a joke.. but could it have been my fault cos i thouht it takes a few days for a cold to show?!

No it's not your fault. That is not enough incubation time for the cold to appear. She had to have had the virus already in her system in incubation for 3-10 days before symptoms begin to appear.
That said, you should never share inhalers!!!

It was partly your fault although it wasn't your fault when it comes to her having a cold but it is not right for you to have share your inhalers with her. You are lucky that she is not allergic to the medicine in the inhaler. Otherwise, the result could have been much worse than just a cold.

It takes several days for symptoms to show up so it wasn't you who got your friend sick.
