for a thousand pounds maximum as i ve just passed my test and just want a cheap car and ford ka is what i want,i would be most grateful for any advice where to get one for this price -many thanks xx

Look in your local Autotrader magazine, or local newspaper ads. Also Ebay.

Well the Ford Ka came out in '97 and its still going strong they bought out diffrent versions of the car some with extras others plain standard as some of the other people that have answered your question i suggest you look on autotrader E&M (Exchange and Mart) Ebay etc if not i suggest you find an automobile auction house near you if you are lucky you should be able to get a Ka for the price you want...
