How do you know that you can trust a person that I've been talking to online?

How do I know that person didn't create a fake identity for themselves and trying to bullshit with you?

I met my boyfriend online and regret it. He totally isn't the person he was while we were talking for several months before we actually met.
He portrayed himself every thing he is not and I didn’t find this out until after I moved from NH to GA. After returning home from a deployment overseas.. we immediately got pregnant. Now there’s no turning back!!
When we were talking almost every single day he seemed like a really normal person, smart, compassionate, nice, encouraging, thoughtful, enthusiastic and sincere to those around him. Yeah right… he’s extremely intelligent and uses that to intimidate people. He’s mean and only thoughtful when it is convenient (like when other people are around)

Now that we have our son… things are no different. I want to leave but worried about custody. We’re not married so I may have an advantage. He’s already told me to go home and leave our son.

SOOOO… please be careful! I’m telling you from experience. People online are not who they claim to be..no matter how sincere they sound.
