JL makes a much better amp the crossfire. JL overall makes pretty good stuff, there just a little overated, and definatly overpriced. which is why i usually dont recomend them. but between those 2, JL hands down.

With any amp its not the model name ie. 1000yada. Its what the amp pushes at a 4 ohm load, anywhere from 12.5-14.4 volts w/ less than 1% distortion. JL is a great choice.

the amplifier is rated at 250watts RMS at 4 ohms
1,000 watts at 1 ohm, not rms i like the amplifier and if you have 14volts or 16 volts it gives a lot more power
jl amplifier are also good maybe better the good feature is that
you get 1,000 watts at 1,2,3,4 ohms always the same power
but they are over price in my opinion
