No Louis. According to the bible, Jesus allowed himself to be killed. He could not die unless he allowed it.

lol seems to make since to everyone else for some reason. You should watch childrens eyes light up as the story of god killing every living creature and telling noah to build a boat is told.

Haha I like how everyone is correcting you "nooo jesus was the son of god". Then why the hell do you say he is the exact same thing a million ******* times. Some how that supposedly makes more since. Oh so god sent his only son to die on the cross to forgive people of there sins when he could of just did it anyway. But then I guess he wanted to call attention to himself. So I could see why it would seem more plausible. But it's still complete rubbish.

there is basically one God who's Jehovah! regardless of the reality that there are various diverse biased variations of god including Christianity (simply by fact Jesus isn't God)! one element i admire with regard to the Baha'i faith is they suspect in a destiny Messiah as do the Jews and Muslims(and according to risk some others)! they suspect in the two Jesus and the destiny Messiah who's in Zechariah 4 & Rev. 11. Christianity is fake simply by fact they think of that Jesus is the only Messiah!

What makes you think god was a him? Anyway, it also created evil for some unclear benevolent reason. Why is it that the only people who sin are religious people?

No no no.. God created us to fail.. then when we did what he designed us to do, he abandons us, and decides the only way we can get back in his good graces is to murder innocent animals and spread their blood all over the place.. when that thrill was gone (and with psychopaths it always escalates) he had to move to human sacrifice, but led us to believe it was him in that body. Nice huh?

Um, no, you don't have this correct. You're oversimplifying--a common mistake of those who think they're clever.

I'd finish answering this question, but it already sounds like you've decided that you're smarter than the rest of us (which is an extremely arrogant position, incidentally). If ever you're REALLY interested in the answer, you can find it easily in the Bible.

Of course - what is so difficult to understand about that? Or that He did it because He so wanted you to share in the joy that can only come from telling him how much you love Him?

Um.... what? You have no idea what you are talking about. Jesus the son of God sacrificed himself to save us. Geez you stupid atheists you could at least have a slight idea of what the hell you are talking about before you come on here and spout your hate for religion.

God didn't sacrifice Himself at all...? His Son Jesus died for our sins and was resurrected afterwards. God can't die. He has always been and always will be. Something our feeble minds could never comprehend.

You do not have it correct. God became man, lived on this corrupt earth, remained sinless, and offered himself as a substitutional sacrafice for all who would accept it. And, FWIW, the place God intended for us to live is a far cry above the world we know now.

Oh Yes!
My old Atheist battle cry! I have seen it in many forms but this is the first time I have seen my old rant word for word.
I will spare you the grief and just tell you the answer you will not accept. The truth is. GOD wants willing company.

Grace and peace to you.
