hi Joe, involved by using your subject. could desire to you deliver me greater information? checkout the Q&As on my profile (there are not many). have to procure AVG antispyware put in as properly as AVG anti-virus? determine you do not have Nortons or the different Symantec anti-virus energetic (even interior the background). distinct antivirus classes working on an identical time is undesirable! One will oftentimes evaluate the different as a baddie and that they'll steer away from one yet another doing the job. seem OUT Beemo9 has purely verified a "seize for youthful gamers" simply by fact the golfers might say. ZoneAlarm and AVG anti-virus do fairly some issues!!!! do not anticipate a secure practices look after to be a hearth fighter!! you prefer and could basically have a million anti-VIRUS application energetic, (it somewhat is somewhat good training to have greater advantageous than a million yet substitute that's energetic. you moreover mght prefer a million or greater ant-spyware classes energetic. you moreover mght prefer basically a million firewall energetic (if working ZoneAlarm turn off different firewalls including living house windows firewall). you moreover mght prefer a million or greater Trojan blocking off/looking/killing classes.

Consult the king of freely downloadable software:

TUCOWS!

This stands for The Ultimate Collection of Winsock Software!

http://www.tucows.com is the home page.
http://www.tucows.com/Windows/IS-IT/Security/Anti-VirusScanners/ is the anti-virus page.

Watch the left column of each piece of software for whether they are freeware (free), shareware (free to download but you're expected to pay if you continue using), or demo (limited time trial version).

PC Tools AntiVirus Free Edition is the highest-rated freeware virus scanner and its page on Tucows is located at http://www.tucows.com/preview/421203.

You can also visit their web site at http://www.pctools.com/free-antivirus/

Hope this helps!

Yes, there are. AVG Free Edition and Comodo AntiVirus are good, free AV programs.

Avast! 4 Home Edition is also a free antivirus program for home use. You'll have to register to get your free license key.

AVG is pretty good. I know personal computer users and businesses that only use AVG. However, I have a friend who tried it, and it couldn't totally get rid of viruses that were already on her computer. It's pricey, but Kaspersky is what eventually fixed her computer. But I know some computer geeks who swear by AVG!

There is AntiVir Personal for Windows. It shows a red icon and the shape of an umbrella.
