So- I started this diet 3 days ago, I'm not expecting instant results but I have been real good about it, I've been drinking only water, eatting ALL healthy things, and taking vitamins and hoodia (which is the most healthiest diet pill I've taken yet..), I havent worked out I just dont have the time.

When I weigh myself (which is daily...), one day I am 5lbs lighter, and maybe I'll eat a piece of bread- then I weigh myself and I gained 3 lbs!

Is my scale broken? I feel like I'm making NO progress :-(

when you're monitoring your weight, it's a good idea to be consistent with the time you weigh yourself. the best time to weigh yourself is in the morning right after you do your morning "rituals" (bowel movement, peeing- that kind of stuff).you'd be suprised at how many pounds come off after a bowel movement (poop). try weighing yourself before a bowel movement and then afterwards- you'll see what i mean!!

Try not to get obsessed with the scale. Variations can have to do with how you are standing on the scale etc. Also, it is normal for weight to fluctuate over the course of a day. I can weigh myself once, get off the scale and right back on, and it is different. I think most would recommend weighing only once a week.

dont worry about it, if you give it a few more weeks, things will hopefully start to look better. just about everything takes some sort of progress, and even if you start gaining more weight, then maybe you should talk to your doctor, or try a different dieting method. good luck!!!!

you really shouldn't eat and then go weigh yourself. your scale isn't broken. you should weigh yourself in the morning with your clothes off. that's how you get accurate results.
