Well, thats become what success is being defined as in America.

I mean just take a look at all our role models these days!

Theyre all celebrities!!!!
They say having cool cars and stuff, and being hot, and getting money is all its all about.

People in this day in age have become "me" oriented.

In fact some people at Cambridge Unoversity did a survey and found that most kids put themselves and their stuff as their first priority.

we are truly "Generation Me"!!!

the Bible says its easier for a rich man to go through the eye of a needle to go to heaven.
And who so ever loses his life for my sake, will find it. But who ever tries to find his life will surely lose it.

Sounds like mixed up morals to me!

May God Bless You!

Because of our imperfect tendencies and desires, and the influences of Satan and his demons, we are what you have just mentioned. Of course, this does'nt mean that we are always like this. Many people have demonstrated acts that are opposite the selfish natures mentioned. In fact, most people just want to get along with everyone else and to be respected. It's just that the media scares many people to become mistrustful and cynical.
