I want 2 have more muscles in my arms and legs but I dont want to over work myself. any ideas??

I don't know what you mean by "overwork." If you mean you don't want to get all muscular like a guy, don't worry, you won't. It takes guys a long time to bulk. It takes women even longer, if at all.

The female bodybuilders you see who look like men got that way by training every day for YEARS. And they also take some dubious substances.

So don't be afraid of being too muscular. As you build muscle, you'll lose fat. And as a female, the muscle you build won't be manly muscle.

Also, the only way to get the muscle you want is with higer weight and lower reps. If you use light weights with a lot of reps, you'll only gain endurance, and very little muscle.

Getting big is the least of your problems. I know plenty of guys who lift with the purpose of getting big and have trouble doing it.

As a woman, you will not bulk up unless you are taking some sort of synthetic testosterone. Otherwise a little muscletone is what you want and most guys find a fit woman to be pretty sexy.

Workout each bodypart 1 time a week.

Do about 4 - 6 sets of 10 - 12 reps for each.

Use moderate weight. Not to easy, but not to hard to lift either.

Not really my idea but a principle in human anatomy; Testosterone is a precursor to muscle, you don't have enough to get big. Women lack enough testosterone (unless they take it synthetically/steroids) to bulk up. The ones that you see that are big are on the juice.

It's just the way it is.

ok are you a guy or a girl and if you are a guy then go to the freakin gym, if you are a girl then do pilates and maybe youll even get a hott instructor!!!! resistance bands toooo!

Light weights more reps,you don't wanna look like popeye. Men use bigger weights and fewer repetitions.
