"Some" (but not all) credit companies, card underwriters, banks and credit unions "do" blacklist.

Some blacklist for bankruptcy and some for charge offs.

With some, once blacklisted - always blacklisted.
With others once your credit is clean, with no major negatives they may remove you from the blacklist.

Some may blacklist for their major cards, but approve a person for their co-branded store cards.

There is no such thing as a blacklist on credit cards. Not paying your bill will result in the card being blocked from use and a negative mark on your credit report. Too many negative marks on your credit will keep you from getting any new credit. Negative items on your credit may remain up to 7 years.

If you are asking how long a specific credit card issuer will refuse you credit for not paying your bill to them, the answer is: FOREVER. If you are referring to some sort of industry wide 'blacklist', I agree with those who say there isn't one.

No such animal. Credit histories remain open for seven years, then are cleared.
