Do not listen to the previous post. I have had GM products all my life and never had a` problem. I'd go with the Tahoe.

You could possibly get some great deals on the Trailblazer because it's being phased out for a new generation of car based Crossovers.
New Tahoe came out as so far received good reviews, although the Expedition is favored by most journalists in those comparisons, but with the vehicles mentioned, there's no arguing it's safer since it's bigger, heavier, bulkier.
Now the Fj Cruiser has some limited flexibility in regards to interior space, ingress/egress, and rear visibility is terrible. Of course, your comparing another vehicle which really isn't in the same league as the other 2.
As for reliability, the Tahoe rates as one of the higher models in dependability according to JDPower, the industry authority in vehicle dependability research.
My only personal issue I've noticed is many of them have one day-time running lamp that's burned out. A good majority of them from the previous generation have that inherit problem, as well as the Silverados. I'm hoping this generation has improved upon that.
Hope this helps some...

Mt daughter and son in law purchased a new Tahoe in 2004. It's towed a 4,500 lb. Mastercraft boat from Long Island to The Finger lakes in Upstate NY. 14 times. It's got 38,000 miles and never been in any shop ever. No brake, transmission, engine, tire or any problems what so ever. The only precautionary thing they do is use Quakerstate full synthetic motor oil. The Trailblazer is just as good as they share the same motor and transmission. The only difference is interior space. You have the option of sliding under the wheel of the SS version Trailblazer if you want to "leave no doubt".

Trailblazer will be the less expensive and it is safe, Tahoe is a bit more expensive and it is safe too.
Tje FJ is a fancy car, you can pay a lot of mark ups and a 2 door car is not safer. Good to get some capuccinos, tough.

Why do people feel the need to buy the biggest, most polluting vehicles made on earth ever?!? If you MUST purchase an SUV, have you considered a hybrid? They can do all the work of a gas-hog SUV, without causing anywhere near the same amount of damage to the atmosphere that you and your family breathes!
As hybrid technology advances, more and more options will be available to you, as a consumer. For 2008, there will be more than 10 new hybrid models on the road. Please consider this option.
