Hello everyone,

I think I may have discovered just the bike for me, however I am worried that snipes by people in my community who are trying to make a quick buck may try and intercept this and coerce a sale out of me.

Is there some way I can forward the details of this bike to someone here on this yahoo answers cycling forum? It would be through my MSN account, so I'd probably be forwarding it (the offer on this bike) to you, and you'd in turn tell me whether or not I'd be getting a peach of a deal.

This all may sound like paranoia, but the bike looks to be something of a real deal -- a real steal, in laymen's terms. So I want there to be a fair playing field, without someone trying to sell me a... what's the word for a bad bike? A lemon? Heh.

My e-mail address is stylishdf@yahoo.com, but I'll get your e-mail address (which is not provided over yahoo answer profiles) and send you the pics, details, etc,.

Best answer goes to person who answers (over e-mail).

Thanks.

I don't think that i'm hungry for the points so I'm not sending you an email offsite. But I thought that I'd post as this is kind of a hot topic with a lot of Q&A people out there.

ther real answer in getting the bike for you is how comfortable you feel when riding. its not a name brand or top o the line components, and barring some of the cheapest bikes out there sold by the bigger department stores in the US, youre going to get a bike that it worth most of the rigors that you can put a bike under.

if it is about the name brand, well, youve just answered your own question and shouldnt have to ask if its a good bike.

if your looking at used, check out the frame and look for cracks in all the welding points.
check out the wheels, make sure they are true (not warped)
spin through the gearing and hit the brakes. does it shift smoothly? does it stop on a dime? hold the front brake engaged and pust the bike bike forward and backward. it should feel tight.

heres a good reference for buying a used bicycle:

Jez and what a multitude - because it replaced into meant to be an open adoption I dont think of you have achieved plenty incorrect exceedingly in case you have written to them on a everyday foundation (till now they moved). And we are able to all say in hindsight that we could continuously no longer have achieved this or that yet you have you cant replace it so dont attempt to. there is rarely a sturdy time to tell a newborn that he's accompanied yet in simple terms how long the place they going to attend? I had continuously regular and couldnt think of something worse that being sat down on my sixteenth, 18th or twenty first birthday and having that dumped on me. subsequently i've got self belief that they had no intentions of telling him that's irresponsible and unsafe - (everytime i choose for a well-being examine i'm asked parental medical historic previous and that i say bypass I dont be attentive to so the customary practitioner knows what could take place on your sons case if something replaced into neglected). Additionaly what could have occurred could his adoptive mothers and dads died and he got here accros an adoption certificates - he could have not have been given anybody to ask the questions he desires answering - it particularly would not undergo thinking approximately. whether for the sake of your son you presently could be very careful and out of your message you appear to be doing the the main suitable option element the place your son is in contact. it is nicely worth forewarning his adoptive mothers and dads that so some distance as you complication they have failed their/your son and you will no longer enable them to try this agian - you at the instant are not likely everywhere and advise you meet to return up with a answer that places the sensation of the youngster first. additionally tell them which you will respond whilst he gets in touch with you. they're attempting as quickly as agian to brush this under the carpet the place it may't be seen stable success in this one - I also have a sneaky feeling you will need particularly some it. yet whilst your son needs a realtionship with you then you won't be able to refuse him,

Maybe you're sounding like a scammer, I wouldn't send an email to you. Maybe I'm just paranoid, so maybe that makes us even.

If the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Look at the components and compare it to bikesdirect.com and rscycle.com and you'll have an idea how much more or less you are paying for.
