Why does Satan want my soul so badly? I mean, what's so great about it?

Actually, Satan does not want your Soul; he does not need it. It is erroneous when some religions interpret the role of so-called Satan this way.

The Satan is the headmaster of a school (earth and lower worlds). He has strict instruction not to allow any student (you) graduate and return home to God (in the higher worlds) unless the student has passed the subject of divine love with distinction. Now, the requisite lessons can only be acquired by experience, so Satan simply uses life experiences as teachers. A student may keep repeating a class (reincarnating) until he gets it right. Eventually though, he learns enough to graduate.

So Satan may laugh at your mistakes, and generally have fun, but he is just doing his job.

Back in the 80's there was a Twilight Zone TV show. It has some great stories. One of them had Sherman Hemsly and Ron Glass and was called "I of Newton". It involved a man who accidentally sells his soul to the devil. He asked the minion who showed up what was done with the collected souls. The answer was the they were rented out to different dimensions as slave labor. One dimension was composed entirely of numbers and that Sherman Hemsly might go there and work as a decimal place, but one day might aspire to become a whole digit.

I do not want to give away how it ended but it was a pretty fun little episode, especially the t-shirts that the minion (Ron Glass) was wearing. The message on the front changed with every shot.

Well because God and Satan are in a competition of some sorts. Who ever gets the most souls gets heaven. By getting the most souls, Satan would of proven God wrong by showing him that his creation (us) would rather submit to him(satan). Even if we know it or not.


Well I also believe that us humans will never be smart enough on this Earth to comprehend the meaning of the universe and how it works.

satan doesn't want your soul. he doesn't really need to do anything to get people to end up in hell. we're doing a great job heading that way on our own already. we'll all end up in there unless change happens. hell is the default destination for all of us, whether satan likes it or not. in fact, there might be some people that satan probably doesn't want to spent eternity with in hell.

Satan wants you and all of those that have not accepted Jesus Christ as Savior. There will come a time when God will return to gather all of those that have faithfully followed Him, and take them Heaven. Satan however, does not want that for you. He wants you to rebel against God and keep others from God. Whether or not you allow that to happen is up to you.
