when i was 14, i wrote a letter to an international correspondence club in London. i found their address in a Hungarian magazine for teenagers. at that time i always wanted to have an Australian penfriend, as i saw an Australian film on TV and fell in love with this country. so i sent my letter to this club, asked them to find me an Aussie penfriend . after 6 months i received a letter... from Africa :) then another one, and another one... letters came from Algeria, Egypt, Marocco and Zimbabwe! but none from Australia.
finally i corresponded with an Algerian boy for some years.
today i have found his letters and remembered that many years ago (im 31 now) i wanted to correspond with Australians...
and now that i have internet... WHY NOT? so if anyone wants to write me from over there, do not hesitate. maybe i'll find a new friend. doesnt matter if its a male or female - but guys please note that im NOT looking for a husband or a lover etc. :-P maybe a female would be safer :-)
