Uranium is always being linked to WMD. I am not sure how it is used for WMD, but would like to know. Thanks.

Uranium is a heavy metal and has some toxicities, which is why it's not used as a coloring agent in ceramics as much as it used to be, though toxicity was pretty rare. This holds true expecially when it's almost all the 238 isotope, which you'll see (in practical terms) called "depleted uranium." The 235 isotope is the one used in nuclear weapons, and "enriching" uranium is simply a partial separation so that your pile of the stuff has relatively more of the 235 isotope than is found in nature.

Enriched uranium is used in nuclear bombs. Most uranium isn't enriched. Canada has a lot of uranium, does that mean they're making WMDs and planning to destroy the American way of life? I'd think not.

Uranium is not very dangerous. It is safe to handle.

Ignore the people that say it will kill. Uranium is all over the planet and is in soil in many parts of Arizona.

Iranian nuclear bombs being detonated by terrorists are dangerous.
