start by eating healthy and incorporate a lots of fruits and veggies into your diet. You can also start with walking or try jogging. Start slow and increase your daily exercise.

Then you can set up a routine which will give you the cutting you want. Situps, pushups, crunches, pullups, knee bends, are all good for cutting some muscle without bulking. And for cardio, do some running, bike riding, swim some laps. Do at least some of these things 2 to 3 times a week.

Depending on activity level and age , start with walking everyday or buy yourself a gym memeber ship that comes with some sort of personal trainer consult...most gyms have these consults with your first signing on....
