It's impossible for you to be lifting and losing weight because in lifting, you're building muscle mass (and muscle weighs more than fat). Also, more muscle means more fat burning, but you would need more calories to sustain it. It's really counterproductive.

What are your goals? Do you just want to look good, or do you really just look at the numbers? Maybe you should try alternating weight-lifting MWF and doing a cardiovascular workout on the other days.

Good luck!

It depends on your fitness level right now, you might need more cardio than just 30 minutes...

also, if you're lifting, heavy weights will add bulk (weight) to you, if you want to lose weight and still lift, then lift MORE reps with LESS weight.

you need to eat less also. Actually eat good too. Try not to eat too much fat including meats. Try to drink alot of water and less sugar. You need to run about 45 minutes at a high heart rate to lose calories. Good luck to you.
