this girl i like (after telling me she liked another guy, who regected her and now shes moving on) told me i was a real sweet guy, a great listener,and an awesome guy to be with, and that i was someone who deserves a great girl. and one of my best friends told me i was one of the most eligible guys he knows, and his gf told me i was a totally awesome person, and real sweet and who found it incredibly odd i didnt have a girlfriend, cuz she thought girls couldnt help but like me.....
anyhow why is it that i cant seem to find a girl who likes me?
and why is it that the first girl doesnt want to start something?

some where in our twisted little mines girls think that (for some reason) we don't deserve a sweet guy like you and we always go for the pricks that really don't deserve us

It sounds to me as if the first girl DOES want to start something with you. Look at all the great things she said about you. She is coming on to you. Now all you have to do is go ask her to go get a Coke with you or something like that. Go for it. You are just to timid. You sound like a great guy.

Remember that girls are self contradicting. If they say you are awesome and nice it really doesn't mean a whole lot. They want someone who doesn't care about them and shows it. That way they can complain and feel sorry for themselves when you treat them poorly. They eat it up like crazy.
