Probably in person. I think that's the best way to give both people some closure, anyways...hope this helps...

The only way to be dumped is in person but not in public. Doing it in person he can see in your face and eyes that you want to end it and he should be able to accept it better. Just don't ever, EVER, say "It's not you, it's me." That is the dumbest line in the history of breakups.

There really in truth is no good way to break up.....but i dont like it when a girl does it in person.....i would like to be broken up with over the phone.....but that is only my opinion.....
P.S. Dont avoid him after breakup.....

Well he would probably have to have feeling in the first place in order for them to get hurt,SO! why not just show up at his birthday party with a new lover and say Happy birthday I would like you to meet my NEW LOVER!!! That should get the point across just fine...

...in person darling...and to his face. explain why if you can...and then leave immediately after wards. Don't look back darling...unless later you feel as though you've made a mistake. It's hard to undo bad feelings hun. Believe me...I know first hand.
