I want to buy a used Land Cruiser, and have seen mileage numbers ranging from the 100s to 200s. My question is to find out how many miles a Toyota Land Cruiser(preferably from 1990 to 1995) will run before encountering serious problems.

Plus, how many miles per gallon do the old land cruisers get?

Hi , i think we still have some sore general motor loosers by looking at some ur answers. Tahoe real suv ?? ha ha ha.. what a joke if it says anything GM. its crap. Toyota makes the best vehicles on the road no comparsion, The Land crusier if had agood owner not just abused seriosly and basic maintance such as oilchanges, airfilters etc.. the landcrusier will last up into the 350,000 mile range on into 450,000 mile range. ive seen a 95 landcrusier other day with 475,000 miles all he has done is changed oil every 3,000 miles and cleaned airliter same and changed airfilter ever other oil chnge, he put 2 batterys in it all his fault for leaving lights etc. on toyota vehicles has the top payload, the landcrusier will have a much sharoer turning radius than a tahoe or a ford suv. the landcruiser gas mileage will vary from driving conditions, weather conditions, all have a huge variation on gas milege, on open highway ive seen them go from 12 to 16 and some to 18 r so all deponde how u drive and the driving /road conditions etc.. but the tahoe doesnt get good mileage either and lets not even talk about a ford. ford engines dont get gas mileage at all. and all my expirnice with chevy's hasnt been impressive either, i get better gas mileage out of my toyota Tundra towing a 5,000 lb trailer than my cousin did with his tahoe no tariler no towing coming from vacation i average 23 mpg towing. trailer he got a all 15 mpg no load. so u tell me ? TOYOTA is the best vehicles on the market any toyota owner will agree. i have not seen very many people whom have driven toyotas noy be fully satisfied and impressed.

Tahoe?
The 93-97 LandCruisers years have the larger motor in the 80 class, better brakes too. If properly taken care of, including the drive train, it should go to 250k+ miles. Yeah, mileage is about 11 - 14mpg city or highway. Full Time 4WD.

i could see if the seller has receipts for artwork that became accomplished so some distance as upkeep and the improvements, that you'll see the position the artwork became accomplished and what type of aspects they replaced it with. 100 and fifty,000 isn't lots on a Toyota, see you later as each and each of the preventative upkeep has been accomplished and its been treated, it may very last you yet another 100k a minimum of on the motor. in my opinion i does no longer purchase a vehicle with truly some mods, only because of the very undeniable truth that you're messing with production facility aspects and settings. universal Land Cruiser's are ok understand vehicles remote places, a lot used in barren area terrains, so as that suitable there has to exhibit you they are properly outfitted, and relied on vehicles, besides the undeniable fact that the numerous aspect, as with each vehicle is how properly the previous proprietor maintained it.
