I'm sure there will be some conventions coming to the Chicago area this year but they won't be free. You can expect to pay a pretty penny for tickets (but you can save money by buying a 3 day pass). And then if you don't make arrangements in advance you will have to take your chances on getting inked.

There is no such thing as FREE when it comes to tattoo conventions, you have to pay for admission and parking...plus the cost of getting inked...would be nice if they were free but seriously there is nothing free in life ....there's always a catch...

no convention is free. all of them cost to park and for admission. what would be the incentive for the people to put it on if it were free? renting out a large space is expensive. sorry. but here is a link to the conventions this year
