East side of South America. What will the weather be like in November down there? I understand that when we are in winter, they are in summer, Is that right? The tip of S. A. is not all that far from the South Pole. Will it be really cold there in November?

You will be going at the beginning of the summer for South America. I am taking that same cruise in '08 starting in March which is like their fall season.

I suggest that you try this weather web site close to your packing time so that you will have a bettre idea. :http://www.weather.com/common/welcomepage/world.html

Your cruise line web site should also have information about the weather.

It will be somewhat cold going around the southern tip of S.A., but wail until Oct. Nov. and start checking their weather online to see if their summer is going to be a typical one or an unusally cold or warm one. One cannot predict that far in advance and can only go by the past years until close to that time.
