I am cold all the time, and sometimes I even feel numb. I was tested for diabetes, circulation problems, thyroid problems, and everything shows normal. I even do aerobic excercises frequently, which I love, because it makes me feel warm! I'm always shivering, and even my nails are purple all the time! People touch me and they sense I feel like ice. I mean, I'm shivering right now! I try to warm myself up, drinking hot tea, and covering up with blankets. I don't know what to do, please answer soon.

It can be hormonal...or I suppose if you are excessively thin and have very little body fat you could get cold much more easily than others. I would be more assertive with your doctor and insist they do more testing to find out why you are experiencing these problems.

If you are really thin that can be the cause of it. I used to be the same way when i was really skinny. I would shiver all the time, my teeth would chatter 9 months out of the year, and i could never stop shaking my leg. As i got older (and fatter) :) i didnt get cold all the time.

You could also have low iron.

A trick to make yourself feel warm is put your feet in hot water. (like jacuzzi hot) Your feet regulate how warm the rest of you body feels. Also wear warm socks.

Are you real thin? Some times some thin people are cold alot. Is your temp turned up in your house? Sometimes it's not warm enough and need it turned up to really get warm. Are you getting enough sleep and enough to eat?

I think you should see a specialist about this. Maybe get re-tested. Do you live in a cold climate? maybe you can move to a warmer climate like California(southern). Have your metabolic tests done and work from there. good luck
