Surely you have stumped me this time. Never thought about it. But I can probably make something up.

A Bible can not be recycled.
A Bible can not be dumpstered.
A Bible can not be burned.
A Bible can not be kicked to the curb.
A Bible can not be used in a birdcage.
A Bible can not be used to potty train your new puppy.

Therefore, as ritual commands, all Bibles no longer suited for their intended purpose must be buried with the dead. And old Bibles do serve a purpose in that respect. Your local undertaker will probably help you with this. Have him let you know when a atheist has died. Go to the wake. Slip the old Bible under the dead atheist when no one is looking. Even after death a conversion may still happen.

I'm sure some Biblolator out there has cooked up some sort of ritual. Mine was fairly simple.
1. Take the silly book out of the bookcase.
2. Walk outside to the dumpster.
3. Lift the lid.
4. Toss in silly book.
5. Close the lid.
6. Go back inside.
7. Watch hockey and eat pizza.

Is a bible so special that you can't chuck it and just buy another one? Isn't the bible the number 1 selling book of all time?

Toss da damn thing and buy one from a book store or steal it from a hotel.

u can trhow it away if you want it....but if it is just a bit tatterd and can still be read, give it to someone or an organisation who might be able to use it.

U need no ritual. It is what is WRITTEN IN the Bible that matters, not the physical Bible book itself. Who know,s when u throw it, some poor soul might just find it and it would b the best thing that happend to him/her. : )

It's not a flag no need to burn it. The best thing to do with old bibles actually is give them to some group that takes them to prisons.....That's how the Gideons recycle the Bibles from the Hotels.

You can chuck it.
The ritual would involve leaving it in a hotel room drawer.

LOL - you can chuk it! However, I'm kind of sentimental, and when I have spent a lot of time in a Bible, underlining, taking notes, etc. I tend to want to keep it as a souvenir!
But it's just paper and ink.
Just don't chuck the message.

It's a book. What would you do with an old book other than the bible? Do the same thing. World won't end. You do not need any book to believe.

You can do whatever you want with it, it's just a book.
I would like to give it to my daughter, since it will already have all my notes in it. (my husband would rather me chuck it, because I have like 4 hehehe)
