My pastor teaches that the end is drawing near. He gives proof of this from Revelations of the Bible. I also see this coming true.

Revelations 24: 4-14
4Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ, [a]' and will deceive many. 6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the begin

anyone who preaches the end is near is stupid.

the end is always near, infact its always getting closer.

you will never get farther from the end then u are now. time goes in one direction like a ray, u cannot stop it and u cannot go back in it. thus u will eventually reach an end point.

but just because that is the case, does not mean it will happen in your lifetime. infact that has been preached since the book was written. even jesus said "your generation will not pass until these events come to pass" u can see signs throughout all of history of the revelation.

sorry but paranoid people drive me nuts.

btw: 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the begin

- note: those have been happening since the beginning of time. there has always been starvation and always been natural disasters.

Those things have been going on before Christ appeared on the world scene. The advent of the Communication Age has just made it seem as if it's increased.

I feel we are drawing close and it is important to make the most of the time we have caring and reaching the lost, those who do not know Jesus as saviour. Life is too short to be bitter and angry and this has been my lifes experience.

It should be preached because it is coming. However we must be careful not to make assumptions as to the time, for nobody knows when.

I would hope so but sadly it's not true. It is simply the way things are.
