Yes, but it is more likely that an ST (Sonar Tech) would do the same job. To be on a submarine you first must volunteer for submarine duty, then pass the screening to be sent to a submarine.

No there aren't. That job is actually filled by our Radiomen and out Fire Control Technicians.
