Although generally heroin stays in your system for only 24 hours everyone's body make up is different and it can stay in a persons system for up to 72 hours, but it can be detected on hair or skin for upto 90 days apparently!!!

Depending on how much has been taken and over what period of time, no more than a few days.
A single dose of heroine will be expelled within 72 hours.
