Why are teen girls only interested in guys that are "hot"? Why arent they interested in guys who are smart, funny, will care for them, would give them the world, and only have eyes for them? I dont understand why it always has to be about looks... why cant they be interested in what a guy has to offer other than looks? Dont they care about being cared for? Why do they go for the ones who will always dissapoint them and only want them for their body? Please answer this question truthfully!

well sometimes girls go for the hot guys to impress there friends and they want to make everyone jealous cause they've got the hottest guy in the world... but its not always about looks... sometimes it just starts there... the guys who are hot early on will soon be has beens so just wait for your turn... most of the nice sweet smart guys get better girls than the hot guys do

You answered your own question: They are teen girls. Most teenagers don't learn the value of a person until they hit their 20's, some it may take even longer. There will always be some part of physical attraction in a relationship it just depends on how one looks at others...do they see the beauty only on the outside or do they find someone beautiful because of their wonderful qualities? It comes with maturity and time and sometimes not at all...keep in mind not all teenagers are like this. All women and men can think others are "hot" but that doesn't necessarily mean that that's what they want.

Teen girls are very immature even though they are supposed to mature faster than guys. I made this same mistake when I was in high school and I regret it. Also, all girls learn from the media is that they should judge everything based on looks. Be patient and believe me girls come around. They will notice what a great guy you are and how stupid they are being. Just keep being a great guy and treating girls with respect. Also think about the way guys treat girls, there are plenty of girls out there who feel the same way you do about the guys out there.

ha yet another stereotype... at 17 I think I'm much more mature than most teen girls in general, but I actually rarely fall for the guys who are "hot." I honestly do look for guys who are smart, funny, trustworthy, etc. For me it has never been all about looks, and never will be. I want a good healthy relationship where he will treat me as well as I will try to treat him. As far as the girls who are superficial, I really don't know. Hopefully they'll realize how wrong they are before they get hurt.

I am a teen girl, and trust me, that is not the only thing we look for. Some girls are very superficial, but you've got to admit, so are many guys. I'm sure there are lots of girls that are interested in smart and caring guys (I myself, am one), you've just got to notice us.

I personally believe that teen girls now are more interested in the outside appearence, which is wrong... I hate it they reaal y don't worry about anything other than if they look good. When you see a guy for the first time his look is the first impression that he makes to people. I like guys that are hot but if they are not funny or are just cocky then they're look it's just worthless.

Quite honestly, looks in a romantic relationship aren't top on my radar. I mean, they are a factor, but if a guy doesn't have a compatiable personality and is nice, caring, humorous, willing etc., it will not work out.

young guys do the same thing honey. It has to do with not having a grip on reality. When they are older and have lives of there own MOST will see things differantly. Hope this helped.
