Recenlty I purchased something online with my dad's credit card number. I am sixteen. How do I make it so that he doesn't find out that $1500 is missing or at least where it went to?

You can't...he'll find out. You'll get in trouble. If you can't do the time don't do the crime..stupid!

Wow.. I think the best thing to do, would be to tell your Dad about it, so he doesn't have to spend time worrying about it when he gets his credit card statement. I'm sure he's not going to be too happy about it, but I'm sure that once it blows over and you two have a good talk about it, that things will be alright. I do, however think that if you can cancel the purchase, then do so.. if not, start thinking about a plan for you to work on paying that portion of the bill.

Using your Dad's credit card was not right, not at all. You need to really work on being more responsible than that. I know at 16, we all do some silly/crazy things.. but I cannot even begin to imagine what you could possibly want/need that cost so much...

Just talk to your Dad.

I hope everything works out.. But please, don't do things like that anymore.

BIG mistake. let your dad know what you did. he is going to find out anyway - so you might just as well get it over with now. that's a lot of money and i'm sure he would want you to tell him so that this item could be returned for credit as soon as possible. just apologize, tell him you'll return the item and that you'll never do such a stupid thing again. at least by telling him the problem, you are taking responsibility of correcting it.

First, you have to tell your dad what you did. Be honest and up front and tell him you know it was wrong but you want to fix the problem. If you are 16yrs old, get a job and pay for the purchase. If he doesn't want you to keep the item(s) you bought, then return them and pay the fees or postage associated with the return. Good luck!

you should confess before he gets the bill... Tell him what you did and that you felt it best that he know from you rather him finding out on his own, because he will find out. good luck
