I used to right click, choose 'arrange icons' then chose something like 'by date modified' not i dont have that 'date modified' anymore?! what could have happened to it? I can arrange them by name, size, type etc. but I need to arrange them by date modified. Any ideas?!

Click on "View", "Details" and then in the folder list click the "Date Modified" heading.
Or
Click on "View", "Arrange Icons By", "Modified"

try selecting view at the top of the screen
you should then be able to select the arrange by options

I have the same problem. I can arrange my wifes files through our network, and she can arrange mine. Even though we can't do our own. So maybe setup a network and try it.

rightclick on the folder window (there where it says "name" or "type" or "size" then a screen pops up and you will be able to ad date to the view. then you click on date to organize it again.

Select your view as "Details" and then right-click on the bar that you see 'Name' and 'Type' and then select "date mdified"

vehicle set up is purely obtainable whilst the records are indexed everywhere in the window (like in icon view), and not basically in one column (like in record or element view) go as much as the View menu on the outstanding and alter the View to icon ...
