Definitely follow your heart. It doesn't matter what race someone is, if you love them then that is all that matters. Your parents can't tell you who to love.

How old are you?? Why do you feel this way? You said your parents are racist. Why do you feel they will break you up? You have to be happy, race does not matter. It's what in a person's heart, and if you are happy then so what, who cares what other people think. Including your parents.

You didn't mention your age but I think you should have a heart to heart talk with your parents and discuss biracial dating. Some parents ( and that could included hers) are totally against it. Others have a slightly different view on it. What is important is that you listen and listen well when they explain their views. They, in turn, should do they same for you. I do want to suggest that if you think your family might have a problem is it really your fear of the situation? Tough issue, good luck.

Listen to your heart. There primary concern most parents have when it comes to interracial relationships is the possibility of children. Most days, this isn't much of a concern to us as it was in your parents day. Just be honest with both of your parents on how you feel. As long as you're good to each other, and you're parents see how happy you make one another - they'll come around.

who cares if she's a different race then you, you love her. and you said your parents aren't racist so why would they break you up, and why would they hate you? and if your both too young to be getting too serious then yeah they can break you up. Listen to your heart but just take it slow and don't do anything that might jepordize your relationship with her.

My daughter is dating someone of a different race and I'm not thrilled about it. Not because of his race but because of his personality. If your parents love you and want you to be happy, they'll try to get to know your friend as the person that she is, not the cultural heritage. We are all the same in God's eyes, too bad that all people don't understand that.

if your parents are not racist then there should be no problem in introducing to your family. It is always best to be honest. do not lie or hide from them. they will respect you more. and do not be willing to give up your parents unless the women you chose will be there for ever. but in the end you need to do what your heart tells you to do.

Do what your heart tells you because you are the one that will be without the person you love if you do listen to your parents.
