Ok, we've been talking through email and in person. She used to be obsessed with this guy named Alex. He moved across the country somewhere. I'm worried that she might still like him. When she sends multi emails, she sends it to him first then me. And no, she doesnt send it in alpabetical order.

Right now, I asked her a couple questions in an email.
I asked:
So, where did Alex move?
Where you friends with him... or something...?

Ok, so tell me if that was stupid to ask. Give me some advice on how to make things better. I love her so much and I would do anything for her and Im so worried. Anyway, thanks for reading.

Well, if that guy Alex was your girlfriend's boyfriend at one point, and the only reason they broke up was because he moved away, I don't think that means that she'll stop liking him. They probably broke up to "move on" in their lives because long-distance relationships are hard to maintain. I would be worried, just like you in that situation. But I would just try to keep in mind that if she was "cheating" or something like that on you, she wouldn't tell you about stuff. And besides, he's very far away.

Just tell her how you feel (in person or over the phone) so she can explain things and have you not worry. Also, it might make her a bit more dedicated to you, to hear how worried you are. Don't tell her off, just explain your worries.

Sweety, don't fret! If she really does like him more, what can you really do? Don't make yourself crazy, if she's not the right one for you then the right one will come along. Be yourself, who would you rather be anyway? No question is stupid, everyone wants answers, especially when they feel threatened in some way. First, be honest, tell her how uncomfortable this makes you but don't come off as jealous. A real woman doesn't want a jealous man. Try to not let it bother you too much anyway, he moved across the country, how comforting can his e-mail really make her feel, no matter what he does, he still isn't here in person. Good luck

I have learn to NOt communicate through e mail. Big mistake! You need to talk with her face to face. You need to ask her if she still have feelings for Alex. It appear to me that she does. Why in the world would a woman continue to keep in touch with an old flame when she has someone else? Think about it. You need to address the issue now b/f things get heated between Alex and her. Good luck.

Stop obsessing about the other dude. Instead of worrying about him, why don't you focus on the things that she needs so that she won't be concerned about the other guy?

If you connect with her, the other dude will be a memory.

If, on the other hand, she's hung up on him, why hang around? Go find someone new.

My friend, to me it is merely a game. I've seen this type of behavior over and over again in my life. The more you pursue it, the more you aggrovate the situation, the more she is going to do it. Which leads to you beating the streets. So, my advice to you would be to just blow it off and be confident in yourself. Get the mind set, "Why would she even want someone else besides me?"

If he moved away I wouldn't worry about him. I still e-mail an ex boyfriend that moved away and it does not mean a thing. If she had something to hide whe would have e-mailed him and you seperately and not told you. Don't worry!

OF COURSE THAT WAS NOT A STUPID QUESTION!!! i still kinda talk to my ex's and my boyfriend asks me like 21 questions....it gets frustrating when he asks me over and over again, but I UNDERSTAND HIM because he doesnt want to get hurt & he wants to make sure that im not gonna go & cheat on him & that i dont have feelings for any of them! if it truly bothers you and she really 'loves' you she should stop talking to him.....maybe shes just not over him....i have only been dating my bf for 2-3 months now and it bothers him that i use to talk to them so i stopped! i dont like arguing w/ him or seeing him mad....so i saved us the drama.......

I'll dump the girl because she can't let go. No matter how much you love her. In the end you will get hurt.
