The Bible is clear.

Jesus was a far different human than all the rest.

No other human was born with supernatural powers like he was, or supernatural intelligence.

Doesn't this qualify for an almost human God type figure? If so, how can he really relate to our sufferings & trials, since though he could feel pain, he was never mentally weak like any other human?

Is it really fair to say that a "Superhuman" human is really the same thing as a regular human, & that he understands our pain?

Surely, unless he has actually committed murder, or had lust in his heart, though he may understand how it is to be unjustly accused, it simply isn't the same as really "being in their shoes"?

Doesn't this really disqualify Jesus to be savior of man, since he really never was an ordinary human to begin with?

And tho he was never married, he somehow understands all the trials and temptations of married life. Never even mind what it's like to be patient with a toddler after he pees on the carpeting again and smacks you in the face with his playskool whack-a-mole game.

He was tempted, He had pet peeves, He got angry, He got tired, He grieved, He knew fear...it's all in there....

He was not "super". He had no "super" strength or "super" intelligence. He was fully man and experienced all the vicissitudes of life that an ordinary man would experience. He was tempted with lust, murder, greed ,etc just like we are - only He never gave in to the temptation. He was empowered by the Holy Spirit in His words and deeds but He was a man.

god bless

We worship a God who became a man that we may be like Him. Scripture says that He became the second Adam and that He laid down His glory and emptied Himself out to the point of becoming sin for us, when He took our sins upon Himself at Calvary.

You, right now as you read, have more superhuman power, as a sinfull man, than Jesus had when here in the flesh. You have more power right now then the man that, containing God's eternal spirit in fullness, walked a mile on this earth in our shoes.

He had to lay down a perfect life to do the will of God. You and I only have to tay down a sinfull life. See it was the power of God in Him. He could not act until the spirit told Him and showed Him what to do. We on the other hand do not want to listen to that spirit, want to use it for our own lust, are of some other spirit completely, or do not know how to walk in God's perfect will.

He grew hungry, He grew tired, He felt pain, He cried, He died. If you meet the Jesus Christ who died 2,000 years ago, but meet Him in this day and hour; you will find with countless thousands, times ten thousands, that He was and is the Worthy Lamb that was slain.

He spent three years being questioned. Many, common people, priests, soldiers, Roman officials, tried to disqualify Him by both His actions and His words. They could find nothing wrong with Him. Finally even Pilot, speaking for Rome, had to say -- I find no fault in this man.

Reading the Bible you have a great testimoney which people in that day didn't see. His divinity was only for Israel to see and not the Gentiles. Some churces maybe heard one sermon or saw only one miracle performed..

Do you realize that the 23rd Psalm by David are the words of Jesus about His sojourn in the flesh as a man? Do you know that Thomas saw Him as a man and knew He was the Christ ( the annointed one ). But it was not until he felt the wounds that he finally realized that Jesus the man was the fullness of the Godhead yet a man. His problem was the opposite of the one you paint.

He grew like others, and in favor with God and man, until He started telling people what was required of them. Then they wanted to kill him regardless of who or what He was. It takes God's mercy and grace to put you into the true revelation of who Jesus Christ was then and is today.

I worship a man. He is a man, my Lord, and my God. It is because He walked to the cross as a man, that I am able to have fellowship and understand the love of God. I have two powers within me, my reason and my heart. Both are capable of knowing even of hearing. I think today that people have forgotten that man's brain at best is only half of his being.

That is your opinion. We do have healers on earth sweety...they are not super humans. Being human means feeling and thinking and acting like a human. We do not recognize anyone as super human. This is why atheists should not read the Bible, they lack insight to understand what a human is.

Jesus was separated from God the father for 3 days. He was in more pain then you could ever imagine. He had physical pain on the cross, more then imaginable also.

Jesus was tempted just like we are. He is obviously stronger then us, and resisted it. But it did tempt him.

Jesus went though more pain then anyone on earth can imagine, he was separated from God after being with him for so long. He bore our sins on the cross.

Hebrews 2:18 (New King James Version)

18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.

Jesus Christ was in our shoes, he was capable of sin, just as we are. Jesus Christ abstained from sin, and perfectly kept the Mosaic law. He was tempted and suffered, he experienced temptation and pain just as we experience it, and because of this he is able to offer comfort and help to all those suffering and being tempted.

He was all man, so He had all our emotions. He cried out to God to take this cup away from Him, He did not want to die like that, but did it anyway. He obviously was more than a simple man though, because how many men would die so horribly just to save a bunch on ingrates like us? Would you? I wouldn't.

As a figment of many fertile imaginations that constantly evolves, Jesus is all things to the people that 'believe' in him.
