Every time my ex and his wife split up he comes looking for me. I have already let him know I want nothing to do with him I just want him to help take care of his daughter. The last time he came sniffing around was five days ago and I'm fed up. Why does he keep coming back when I make it more than clear I don't want him? What do I do?

You're familiar.....like that fuzzy pair of slippers, and its comforting to him. It would be too much like work if he had to go at it with a totally new person.

Stand strong and hold your ground. He'll see that he can't get back and move on.

But you can not provide encouragement in any way. No more shoulders to cry on. Coordinate visits for your daughter, but don't think you are doing the right thing by the little one, by being an emotional sponge for her Dad.

Change the locks and find a new hubby.

Then, your daughter can have a new daddy and you won't need to worry about the dirtbag coming around anymore.

tell him not to come onto your property unless he is picking up his daughter for a visit. does he have visitations with her?
tell him you'll meet at a public place for the child exchange. make him aware that you'll call the cops if he comes over again. Don't answer the door and call them.

Sometimes even though we say we dont want them our actions speak louder. If you are talking to this man at all he believes you want to help him, he believes you will always be there. Dont answer his calls, dont answer the door if he comes around.

i think that he still really likes and cares about u... and i think he jsut wishes that you could be back together. he may think that, "oh, well i guess she still cares for me if she wants me to help raise her daughter, maybe something could start up again"... so that's just another thought of mine, idk i may be way off, but hopefully i have helped you in some way.
