"Spirituality" is a fairly meaningless word. It is very unempowering and life wasting. It is used by people who want to make their superstitions sound more impressive.

Both are true.
You started out with spirituality and then went to religion...you can't have an OR question when comparing two different things.
Your question is like asking "Do you believe oranges are oranage OR do you believe apples are red?"

I believe spirituality and religion, when not misused and not abused and not used as a reason to put people down...IS...the most empowering, liberating life force.
