i did'nt receive my w-2 for for the 2004 year until recently so i was unable to file. I looked on the IRS website to file for being late thinking i was going to get it sooner within that year. so i have it now as well as the one for this year. so im ready to file but i want to know is there anything that i need to do or will the place that i get my taxes done take care of it. I don't care if i dont get a return i just want this done. don't want to end up like Wesley Snipes........no sir! just looking for suggestions it will be greatly appreciated!

You will have to fill out the return and mail it in. I included the IRS link where you can print off the forms you need.

You can go to a tax prep place, but if your return is pretty simple you can save yourself money and do it yourself.

I'm not quite sure, but I believe if you are having your taxes done professionaly they will take care of the filing. As long as you don't owe the IRS money they will usually do an ammendment for you.

your tax person will be able to take care of everything for you, pretty routine. hopefully you WILL be due a refund then you wont have any penalties.
