The green one is still a baby. and it's cere is still pink. You will have to wait a while.

The other onr looks as if it is a male.

Both are still very young.

Ok, i have a budgie that looks exactly like that lol the link is below. Judging by the stripes on his or her head, and the color of its cear, it could be hard to tell. (the more stripes on its head, and the tighter they are, the younger they are.) Ya see, when budgies are little babies, most all of them have a blueish purpleish cear. It is hard to tell with that. Once your bird molts (around 4 months) the cear will be more blue, or more pink or white. however, there is never a defanate way to tell unless you have a vet do it by bloodwork. From what i can see, the cear is more blue or purple, so i would assume that it looks like a male, but im not 100% possitive. The only other way to tell is when it goes into breeding mode....you will see a little pecker, or you wont....you can also try and feel around down there, and see if you feel one. Hope this helps.

If the skin over the nostrils is pink, it's a female, and if it's blue it's a male. At least, that's how they taught me to sex them when I worked in a pet shop when I was a teenager. The skin on the green bird looks kinda pink to me, if it is then it'd be a female, and the other would be a male.

it looks like it has a purplish tint to it so i'd say male but the cere is mostly pinkish so i'm not sure on the sex exactly. how old is the bird. it may not be fully mature so wait and see if the colour changes if it is a young bird.

Ok, those are both babies, beautiful, but because they're so young, everyone is just guessing, there's really not a reliable way to tell at this age. I'm including a helpful link if you wanna continue guessing... have fun!http://www.budgieplace.com/mf.html

It is definately female since it looks white with a light blue tint,so i would say female ,not in breeding condition of course. Her cere will turn dark brown and crusty when she is in breeding condition.
