Not necessarily just dirty places or places where hygiene is not really practised so much. And while everywhere is all-encompassing, this can be really misleading because, I may sound far-fetched, the moon, for example, does not have any life or any pathogen there, so can one say that people can get disease in the moon?

Whether anyone believes me or not on where pathogens, and some of the worse ones if I might add, are actually found is up to you people. But in reality, if you are looking for pathogens, the number one place to go is...the hospital! It houses most, if not all, types of pathogens a lot more than your garden or your kitchen, since the hospital is an ensemble of pathogens that not only do cause diseases, but also have pathogens that may even be resistant to antibiotics! So while "everywhere" is a good answer, the hospital is your nearest choice to find pathogens.

Hope this helps!
