It's on my elbows and knees, ears etc. and I've tried many ointments etc. Nothings seems to work - should I be following a strict diet to help this condition clear up?

I have had psoriasis ever since I was 12, it runs in the family, I have tried everything from the doctor prescription that cost 50.00. and still does not help, what does help is the sun. or a heat lamp, throw some ointment on it and lay in the sun, there are 2 types of psoriasis. one that does go away and the second one don't. but like I said the only thing that helps mine is the sun. good luck. and don't worry they are not catchy

i got this info from a blog i found for a friend with the psoriasis...i am a true believer of the healing properties of apple cider vinegar, as i have experianced many of them..
2 teaspoons mixed with honey (in my case i used sugar since I didn’t have honey). 2 weeks later here I am, VERY HAPPY and giddy :). The ACV treatment is working. The patches are diminishing. They are no longer rough and flaky, but rather smooth, REGULAR HEALTHY skin is now there (only thing that remains is a mark where the patch once was, this should be easy to get rid of with cocoa butter or some kind of skin cream). The smaller tiny patches have completely healed up like popping a pimple.. Just a mark remains and the ones on my arms are beginning to heal up very nicely.

Alternative medicine says there is actually a natural cure for psoriasis. In fact, there are several. Some options for the most effective ways to cure psoriasis naturally include: Body detoxification, colon cleansing, and Omega-3 fatty acids.
