YES! I have a 16yr. old & a 14yr. old, both girls. They can't be in the same room for 5 minutes without yelling at each other about something. They get so mean in the way they talk to each other, I can't stand it. They don't seem to think anything of it, they think I'm crazy & I expect everyone to act like families on TV act. The only times they are on the same side is when they are both against me or my husband. I get mad & don't put up with it when they act this way, but it doesn't help. I guess that is just the way they are gonna be. I still try to control how bad they can get though. I'm glad to know mine aren't the only ones who act this way. I don't feel as if it's totally my fault or something. Good Luck!!!

Well I'm 14 years old and my little sister is 12. And we absolutely can't stand each other. And to make the matters worse, we share a room. Wonderful right?
Yeah I can agree we disagree a lot and have many arguements. But personally I think that we get along a lot better if we do more family activites {vacations, dinners, movies, skating}. And if that is too pricy than we just like talking about well... hehe boys :D

It's the nature of the beast so to speak. Siblings fight. It's normal. They are at ages where it's not cool to like one another. The 14 yo is a teenager and can't be caught dead being civil or friendly to a lowly 10yo...lol..lol. They will out grow it. Best you can do is try to intervene and let them know it's ok to be nice to each other at home, no one from school will find out. Remind them, they are family and should be able to count on one another. I'm mom to 3, aunt to 12, great aunt to 3 and one of 5 children in my family. It's kinda law that siblings fight.

Shoot my girls fight constantly too and they are only 2 1/2, 4 1/2, and 6 1/2. I dread when they are teenagers....hoping they will get along a little better then. They can get along now but when one doesn't agree with the other it is a full blown fight....people tell me when they get older I am gonna have to sell tickets to their fights.

It's normal. They will do one of two things: Grow up to eventually love each other, or Grow up to keep disliking each other. That's life and karma!

My brother and I bicker constantly! If we are picking on each other than something is wrong. I feel it is completely normal.

My kids love each other. They watch out for each other. It's great.

Poor behavior should not be tollerated.

Teach them to respect each other just as they HAVE to respect their parents.
