with my girlfriend thinking that everything i do now is to hurt her because I broke my promise to her not to smoke weed and I did once with my buddy and I felt guilty and figured she suspected I did it so I told her but now she.... thinks I have betrayed her and don't love her but thats not the case I still love her.

She should be happy that you told her and that she didn't have to find out on her own! I value trust in a relationship, but, would have to give you points for telling her!

you may have broken your promise but that doesnt mean that she should be acting the way she is. She is being immature and not being serious about how good you are to her. You do love her, and if she cant realize that then she doesnt deserve to be with you...i know you are and you really deserve better. Trust is a big thing in a relationship and if she can't trust you to be honest and treat her right then she is blind.

Because you lied to her and broke your promise its hard for her to trust you now. Just keep on telling her that you love her if thats how you really feel. When your out somewhere get somebody to go with you that you and her both trust and see if that doesnt improve her trust.

its hard isnt it... i made the same promise a million times and have broken it a million times...
... its not really related to what u feel about her... its just about having some fun unless u smoke so much that u cant do anything else!

Honestly, she's being a dumb girl. She just needs to realize you made a mistake. You're not going to quit smoking unless YOU want to. She needs to realize this has nothing to do with your relationship.

Even when u love someone you make mistakes. As long as u don't do it again...u DID promise her u wouldn't. She'll get over it.
