Did you write a thank you note to the interviewer?

You could call to see if the interviews are over and ask when they will be making a decision on a hiring a applicant. Don't do this more than once or else they will think you are too pushy.

Good Luck, I hope you get the job.

Maybe just send an email to ur interviewer or whoever u were dealing with, stating that u are just wondering about the status of ur application, and ask whether or not the position in question has been filled. This will show that u are still interested in the job. Make sure to thank them again for seeing u, and say that u look forward to hearing from them in the near future.

A good way to do that is to keep calling them. Make a pest
of yourself, this shows that you really are interested in the
job. This has worked for me in the past. When you call be
very friendly, and very aggressive. The whole idea is to make
them know your name, and remember it. Call a couple of
times a week, be very friendly and show allot of motivation.
This is a very effective method if done well, so go for it you
have nothing to loose. You also want to convince them that
you are the man for the job. It's all in how you come across
, you have to let them know that you would be a great
asset to their company. Think positive, good luck.

This is in the wrong category: General - Diseases & Conditions.
However; if you are on the waiting list untl April...I would send a thank you note to the person that interviewed you. Then in about 2 weeks, I would call to see where you stand.

Call once in a while to let them know you're still interested. I was put on a wait list for my first job and I called every week for a month. I'd suggest not being that pushy, but once every two weeks would be ok.

Now that it's March, you can call them once this month saying that you applied and was just checking on the status of the job position. If it was filled, I suggest that you ask them to please keep your applicaiton on file for any future openings. Then continue to look for another job. Then if you don't have another job by May or still are interested in working there, call again. The more they hear your name the more they will remember it. Good luck!

The lost art of writing a thank you letter to the person you interviewed with is a classy way to follow up. It's more memorable than a simple phone call.

dont expect quick replies. it can be a long drawn out process
they may be 100 more applying so be patient relax and keep your options open. Believe me, if you are good enough they will be in touch and if not dont worry keep trying and look elsewhere.....
