God did not make many different religions. We were created by Him to worship Him and glorify Him. However, because we were deceived by Satan in the Garden of Eden, we are cursed with sin. It is this sin that separates us from God. Man, in his sin nature, doesn't want to worship God or obey Him. We naturally want to do our own thing, be selfish and "live our own lives". As a result, people through the years have taken God's word and modified it to fit their "needs". This has led to many different religions.

He simply asks us to believe that we are sinners and in need of forgiveness. Christ died on the cross and rose again so that we can have eternal life. There is no person who is good enough to enter heaven on their own. Jesus promises us eternal life if we humble ourselves, repent of our sins, and give God control of our hearts and lives. Satan is the great deceiver. His goal is to keep as many people out of Heaven as possible. God doesn't send people to Hell "for being deceived". We are destined to Hell in our sinful state and need to ask forgiveness of our sins. If we ask for forgiveness, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us. God is at work in our lives every day. Give Him control of your life, trust in Him and He will never let you down. Want to know more about God? Read the Bible. It's full of promises and treasures.

God did not make all the different religions. Man did. There is only one God and one truth in the bible and each person needs to do the research and find it for themselves.

One truth in the bible is that there is not a burning hell that God sents "bad" people to be tormented forever. The bible says the "the dead are conscious of nothing" Ecc 9: 5,6, &10
Hell or the Hebrew word Sheol or the Greek word Hades is the common grave of mankind. John 5:28 & 29 says that "the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." the righteous and the unrighteous. So God does not send people to "hell" death does that with the hope of a resurrection.

The bible also says that the "wages of sin is death" Ro. 6:23
So when someone dies, they have paid for their past sins. It is up to God to judge their heart to see if they are worthly of being resurrected and living again.

A recent tabulation concluded that there are 10 main religions and some 10,000 sects. Of these, some 6,000 exist in Africa, 1,200 in the United States, and hundreds in other lands.

Many factors have contributed to the development of new religious groups. Some have said that the various religions all represent different ways of presenting religious truth. But a comparison of their teachings and practices with the Bible indicates, rather, that the diversity of religions is because people have become followers of men instead of listening to God. It is noteworthy that, to a large extent, teachings they hold in common, but that differ form the Bible, originated in ancient Babylon.

Who is the instigator of such religious confusion? the Bible identifies Satan the Devil as "the god of this system of things" (2Cor.4:4) It warns us that " the things of which the nations sacrifice the sacrifice to demons, and not to God." (1Cor.10:20)

So you see that God did not create different religions, they came about from people turning away from pure worship of the true God Jehovah

Acually, in the Book of Matthew(chapter 14 I think), Jesus states that people are not responsible for what they don't know.

This concept is also covered in Ezikiel in the Old testiment.
Other religions do serve a purpose, they keep people morally sound before the gospel has spread to their part of the world.

You will notice that most religions do follow the same general moral code.

God doesn't deserve the credit for all the different religions.

God will judge people justly, even those who've never heard the gospel, but lived their lives and acted according to all the light they possessed.

We who've heard the gospel won't have that as an excuse.

God doesn't send people to hell, we make that choice ourselves. We can spend eternity with God or without, it's our choice.

Very good. I can see that you are a rational thoughtful person.

You're well on your way to elevating yourself above the masses and becoming an atheist. It may take some time, and a lot of thought and research - but you seem to have the potential.

I'm proud of you.

the place does God say he placed himself interior the hearts of all and sundry? I neglected that finally. i assumed we are created with a void.....a place meant for God it is empty. This void manifests itself for a longing interior us which could in basic terms be filled by skill of God. He in basic terms comes interior us whilst he's invited interior the direction of the theory in Jesus Christ, His in basic terms Son. i think of there are such particularly some religions because of the fact people have self belief what they pick. They assemble around what they think of will fill their pick, and each so often it is an imposter that they suspect. people could try the spirits and seek diligently for certainty with the intention to discover it, nevertheless some in simple terms stumble upon it and be attentive to it whilst they discover it. yet, it is curious how such particularly some diverse religions have progressed in the time of time. i'm able to work out how devil reward by skill of this confusion, yet finally people themselves are the reason.

God did not. Man, in his attempt to get a god he could better negotiate with, did. Satan, in an attempt to draw people away from a saving faith in God, created otehr religions.

In His love for us, He created Man with free will. But along with free will came the ability to choses not to obey and follow Him.

No religions were made by God. Nobody is sent anywhere by an imaginary God.
