The Treaty of Versailles ended the first world war. It was not an issue after WWII.

The correct answer is the rejection of the treaty of Versailles. All the other events happened during the cold war, the treaty was rejected several decades before.

Very fun question. I'm going with the Establishment of Nato. I believe this event escalated the post cold-war rhetoric, but under the traditional revisionism the cold war ended prior to this event. There are many people who referred to this row as "the new cold war". My second guess would be the treatise of versaille, but I believe this event was one of the earliest causal factors of the cold war cultivating ill will between the west and russia.
