I got this adapter from a friend but he didnt have the software for it, when i plug it in my computer says it cant find the files needed to download it , i was wondering if there is a place i can go to online to download it
please dont tell me to just google it because i already did and it didnt work

i went to the intel website and downlaoded the driver but now what to i do???

go to the manufacturers site. and search for it there.

Normally you want to go the vendor's site. In this case, it's Intel. Here's the link that u can download drivers, as well as instructions on how to install it http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/pro2011b/usb/index.htm
For drivers, once going to the link, click on "Software & Drivers". Here you'll be asked to choose your OS, etc..
